Small batch bottling. Bordeaux Cask Finish. Aged 17 Years.

Distilled in 1999, the spirit was initially matured in ex Boubon hogsheads, before being recasked into freshly dumped  hogsheads from Bordeaux, for a further period of 46 months maturation. This bottling is from 3 of the 25 casks filled in 2013.

Cask No's: 820, 821 & 825. Outturn 911 Bottles.

Bottled at natural cask strength. Unchillfiltered.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Soft fragrant blackberries, almonds and a hint of coffee

Palate: Reveals delicate tannins of the wine, red berries and gentle ash from the original toasting of the cask

Finish: Slightly dry, but warming and long, with blackberries, almonds and a hint of milk chocolate and vanilla
