Distillery Exclusive. Single cask bottling.
2003 marked an important milestone in our use of wine casks, as this is when we started using them for full term maturation, rather than just finishing. We have been delighted with the results of this initiative.
Distilled in 2009, the new spirit was filled into a second use hogshead from Bordeaux and matured solely in that cask.
Bottled at natural cast strength, this whisky retains the full depth of colour and all the flavours developed during maturation.
No artificial colour has been added during bottling. The colour of the whisky reflects only the natural impact from the casks used.
