We started distilling Ballechin in 2003, our heavily peated malt, peated to a level of at least 50ppm.

Distilled in 2008, the new spirit was filled into Bourbon cask No 281 and matured solely in that cask. Outturn 301 bottles.

Bottled at natural cask strength, the whisky retains the full depth of colour and all the flavours developed during maturation.

No artificial colour has been added during bottling. The colour of the whisky reflects only the natural impact from the casks used.
