Edradour 10 Year Old Distillery Edition

Product information "Edradour 10 Year Old Distillery Edition"

The ten year old Edradour is handmade and one of the last Single Malt Whiskies from a traditional farm distillery still in production today. The methods of production remain virtually unchanged in the last 150 years and are only just capable of commercial quantities. Indeed Edradour Distillery makes as much whisky in a year as most distilleries produce in a week. A rare pleasure for a fortunate few.

Aged in a combination of Oloroso Sherry and Bourbon casks. Chillfiltered at 40% ABV.

Massive whisky from a pint-sized distillery and massively impressive.” Jim Murray, Whisky Magazine

A true treat of single malt pot still whiskey

A friend received a bottle of the 10 year old whiskey from the son who visited Scotland and put it on a shelf years ago because they didn't like scotch whiskey. A few days ago they told me about it and upon hearing I am a scotch whiskey drinker gave me the bottle. I opened it last evening and shared it with a fellow whiskey drinker and we both loved it. Tonight I sat by myself and had another sip and decided it is one of the best I have ever drank. So smooth and so many subtle flavors that assault your taste buds. Thank you for continuing to make high quality whiskey on a small scale. The attention to detail makes this a truly special taste. Sorry to see it is no longer available, but am hoping at some point it will come to the United States, but if not will have to plan a golf trip to Scotland to procure it. An American scot who still enjoys the best whiskey still produced in small batches. Milton Shockley
